PEACE IS THE WORK OF ALL
JPIC has established networks or links with other peace organizations, line agencies and concerned groups on JPIC related activities. The Director or any of the staff has actively participated on certain issues and concerns of the community/society in general. Among them:
1. Member of the Fact-finding committee of the so-called Ipil massacre.
2. Member of the SugPAT Federation and one of the members of the board.
3. One of the Resource Persons in the Armed Violence Reduction Initiative, (AVRI), an on-going CHD project.
4. Involvement with the Provincial and Municipal Government Peace and Order Council and Development Council .
5. Partnership with the National Food Authority (NFA) in making rice available and accessible to the poor thru its 2 outlets selling rice.
6. Participated in the Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan initiated by AMORE Foundation.
7. Participated in Gawad Kalinga Project at Liyang, Patikul, Sulu.
8. Participated in the Launching of Multi-Sectoral Environmental Awareness Campaign spearheaded by the Joint Task Force Sulu and the Provincial Government.
9. Participated in the Ride for Peace activity sponsored by the Joint Task Force Sulu.
10.Distributed relief goods to the victims of storm surge.
